These coasters were crafted upon reflection of each of the beatitudes. Symbols and images were referenced from the bible and early writings of the saints.

A lovely set of eight ceramic coasters for you to meditate upon and keep you company as you have a drink, reminding you of the beautiful call to holiness!

These durable coasters absorb water, which keeps your surfaces dry and prevents coaster-sticking to your cup. They also include a cork bottom to prevent scratches and slipping.

Symbolism of each coaster is explained below.

Each Coaster has a diameter of 10.3cm, the box is 11 x 11 x 9.5cm. 

Product Material

Absorbent ceramic with a cork bottom. (it is breakable)

Water will seep in quickly so if you spill dark liquids, wipe away immediately with a dry cloth to avoid staining your coaster. You may gently wash with a mild detergent and rinse before leaving it to air dry overnight.

The desert represents the journey through hunger and thirst, while the Lion represents God watching from above the the river symbolizes the path to fulfilment in Is 43:19

The hyssop and snow symbolizes purity as in Ps 50; cedar and birds represent a purification ritual and the sun shows us God from above

The roses and spear symboilizes crucifixion and the martyrs; the fish symbol is an early Christian notation and the gates represents the Kingdom of Heaven.

Two coins and bread represent the widow's poverty and generosity while sparrows symbolizes interior freedom and worth as in Mt 10:31. The gates lead to the Kingdom of Heaven.

The donkey symbolizes the humble while thistles and weeds represent the difficulties. The palms and treasure points to our heavenly inheritance.

Chrysanthemums and cypress symboilizes grief and the oil lamp brings comfort; similarly, the moon and stars symbolizes light in darkness. In Ps 30, teardrops turned wailing into dancing.
