Lent

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
- Matthew 5:3

While we journey through the 40 days in the desert with the Lord, we also experience the temptation of sin in various forms. We trust in the Lord's providence and as the Beautitudes in Matthew chapter 5 reminds us, when we sacrifice ourselves for others, we gain heaven for our souls.
